Dear Classmates,

     As you know, on June 8, 2004, twenty years has passed since we walked across the graduation stage. Time has gone by very quickly and we are now ready to celebrate all of our successes!

     Your reunion committee has been working hard to provide the best reunion ever! They have scheduled a picnic on September 25, 2004. This will be an informal gathering to re-introduce ourselves to each other. There will be games and other activities for your entire family (children and adults) as well as yearbook resigning. There will also be lots of food and fun. The picnic will be held at Martin Luther King Park from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. This is Rocky Mount’s newest park and directions are included.

     Later that same evening there will be a dinner and dance at the Holiday Inn / Gateway Convention Complex. This is for adults only. The theme is Hawaiian and the dress is casual, but no jeans or tennis shoes. Registration begins at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served promptly at 7:30 pm. During the dinner, a tribute is planned to remember our classmates that have fallen. We are looking for other entertainment for the dinner hour. If you have a talent that you would like to share please comment on your registration form. Someone will contact you immediately. After dinner you can dance the night away.

     The cost of the reunion is $75.00 for couples and $50.00 for singles. This price includes the picnic, dinner and dance. All monies will need to be turned in by Sunday, August 15, 2004. Check or money orders can be made payable to the Rocky Mount Senior High Class of 1984 Reunion in care of P. O. Box 2913, Rocky Mount, North Carolina, 27802. There is a block of ten hotel rooms available at the Holiday Inn for $69.00 per night. You will need to call 1-888-543-2255 and tell them you would like to reserve a room and that you are with RMSH 1984 Reunion to receive this special rate.
